Student Response and Assessment Tools
Student response tools are like little clickers that allow students to respond to an answer given to them by the teacher. These tools allow the teacher to know where the class is at with a lesson and allows the teacher to know who's struggling without bringing attention to them publicly. Student response tools help to keep children involved within a lesson and they appeal to a variety of ages and learning styles. For example, if you have a first grade class than you can gear towards answers that offer only A,B, or C as your choices but if you have a tenth grade class than you can gear towards answers that require a short answer. I hope to one day use these excellent tools within my own classroom. These tools will allow me to know that my students are paying attention and keeping up with the lesson at hand. These tools also taught me a number of different ways to assess and evaluate my students understanding.
