Audio/Podcasts
Podcasts are recordings that students can listen to that gives them information. Currently podcasts and audio are becoming increasingly popular in the education community. Since podcasts are user friendly and fun to make, they increase LoTi scores with in the classroom if used properly. Students are able to create and publish their own work either to a classroom blog or safe educational website. With their being so many possibilities with audio and podcast, I hope to use these tools in my one day classroom. Websites that you can visit for educational podcasts include: https://itunes.apple.com/us/genre/podcasts-education.com and www.educatorstechnology.com.
These websites are not only very useful but also very informative and would be excellent aids for any educator. These websites also appeal to a number of grade levels.
Below is is my example of a audio/podcast. I used the software audacity in order to complete it. This software is easy to use and very helpful. Feel free to check out my example.
